ENGINE SPECIFICATION :
  • Engine shall be designed and built by the track type tractor's manufacturer.
  •   Engine shall deliver 366 net HP at 1,800 RPM and shall displace no fewer than 928 cubic inches.
  •   Engine shall be Tier III compliant.
  •   Fuel injection system shall be mechanically-actuated and electronically-controlled.
  •   Cylinder block shall be cast by the track type tractor manufacturer's foundry.
  • Cylinder block shall be a gray iron casting with no fewer than four valves per cylinder.
  •   Engine shall be turbocharged and aftercooled for fuel efficiency and quick low speed engine response.

COOLING SYSTEM
  •   Cooling system shall be designed and built by the track type tractor's manufacturer.
  •   Coolant shall make two passes in the radiator for superior cooling.
  •   Radiator shall be a modular design permitting field replacement of individual cores versus removal of the radiator from the tractor.
  •   Two radiator cores shall be dedicated to the aftercooler circuit to reduce inlet air temperatures to improve engine performance.
  •   To reduce coolant leaks, brass tubes shall be welded to a large, thick header, improving strength.

  POWERTRAIN/TRANSMISSION
  •  Machine shall have three speeds forward and three speeds reverse. 
  •   Maximum reverse speed shall be at least 7.7 mph (12.3 kph).
  •   Drive train components shall be designed and built by the track type tractor's manufacturer.
  •   Tractor shall be equipped with a torque divider.
  •   Components shall be designed to allow directional shifts under full power without slowing down or stopping the tractor.
  •   Transmission shall be a planetary design and built by the track type tractor's manufacturer.
  •   Steering clutches and brakes shall be designed and built by the track type tractor's manufacturer.
  •   Final drives shall have three planetary gears to spread high torque loads out evenly for long final drive life.
  • Final drives shall be splash lubricated for extended life.
  •   Electronic Clutch Pressure Control shall be available to allow smoother shifting by modulating individual clutches.

  • Maximum forward speed shall be at least 5.8 mph (9.4 kph).
